One of the many top tier talents on display is an Italian artist, Filippo Giusti. Be sure to visit his working studio and absorb his creative process he calls "essentialism". His realism techniques is more than skin deep.
“One problem in our society about strengths or our talents is that it becomes very difficult for us to be taught that they are important. I got a 10 in drawing and a 4 in math. What did my parents do? You have to go to extra hours in the afternoon to study math, they said. So, by putting effort into math I got a 6, but my drawing went from a 9 to a 6. In other words, you become a 6,”
“I feel that each of us has a talent and a strength that should be at level 11. Instead schools teach you that you have to be average,” concluded Filippo Giusti about his perspective on talent in life.
